Photography Opportunities
I would highly recommend starting with the lake for your wedding! The lake offers stunning panoramic views that are perfect for taking wedding photographs. If you have your own boat, you can even park it right next to the venue to create more beautiful photo opportunities. There are luscious, green lawns for you to explore and get creative with your photos. Additionally, there are several nearby parks and a fun general store that doubles as an Airbnb space, which makes for some great photo locations.
Wedding Details
The venue can accommodate up to 200 guests and features round guest tables draped in white linens and Hercules Chiavari chairs. It is located on Lake Charlevoix with picturesque views and a manicured lawn. There is a covered porch with sides and portable heaters for a cocktail hour and six large windowed doors that can open for an open-air feel. There is also a glamorous dressing room for getting ready.
The Boathouse has three accommodations to choose from based on your needs. First, they have the General Store which features a romantic king-size bed, clawfoot tub, vintage living room, a candy shop kitchen, large picturesque doors, and a quaint large front porch.
Second, they have Goodmand Cottage which is the perfect getaway for friends and family featuring a queen size bed, bunk beds, a quirky living room, fireplace, WiFi, full kitchen and outdoor space.
And last, they have the Flat which is an adorable cottage living space featuring a dining room, living room and bedroom with a king-sized bed.
