About the Blissful Barn Wedding Venue
The two-story barn, with its soaring vaulted ceiling, hand-hewn beams, weathered plank walls, a custom wood spiral staircase, and rustic oak wood floors, preserves the character and charm of its historic roots. For the comfort and convenience of modern touches, the barn also features electricity, running water, handicap-accessible restrooms, Wi-Fi, and central air and heat for the bride and groom quarters, bathrooms, and prep kitchen. With its expansive 2,210 square foot interior and 2000 square foot Grand Patio, the Blissful Barn can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests.
Details of the Grounds
Ceremony Space: Their stunning and timeless wooden pergola is the ideal place to tie the knot on the lawn. In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, they have an amazing contingency plan with the capacity to host a magnificent ceremony on our magnificent Grand Patio. ( I highly recommend with any outdoor wedding that you have a backup plan and Blissful Barn offers just that…ya know…just in case!)
Reception Space: They can help any couple bring their vision to life - from rustic elegance to casual or vintage vibes, you can create a bright, warm weather-inspired look and feel that perfectly complements the natural beauty of the rustic setting.
Grand Patio: Their Grand Patio offers stunning views of our waterfall, Koi Pond, and the surrounding corn and soybean fields. Weather screens roll down to provide protection from rain or wind, allowing you to enjoy your time on the patio without worry. The large double barn doors open up to join the reception area with the patio, letting guests take in the breathtaking view.
Photography Opportunities
No worries about having to drive to other locations for beautiful wedding photos. Everything can be done on-site which helps to create a stress-free day. Take a loop around the barn and you will find greens, florals, Koi Ponds, and maybe even stop for some late evening s’mores around the campfire!
Wedding Details
May & October we can accommodate 150 guests inside the barn. The Grand patio can be used in the warmer months of June to September to allow 200 guests.
So what is included with the barn? 350 White Padded Folding Chairs, 10 Round 5ft Tables, 22 Authentic Farm tables crafted from 100-year-old hewn beams. Constructed using traditional techniques such as mortise and tenon joints and wooden pegs, you will be amazed by the beauty and character of these tables (each measuring 42'' x 96'').
They also provide Central Air/Heat in the Brides/Grooms Room, Bathrooms, and Prep Kitchen, as well as: 10ft Vintage Cake Table, Luggage cart, Grain cart, 5 Rectangle 6ft Folding Tables, and a variety of vintage props, such as hand-hewn doors for the ceremony, and wine barrels with or without tabletops. Lastly, they can also provide a portable bar and fire pit with benches and firewood.
To book your date, a non-refundable retainer of $1,000 and a signed contract. Your rental will be from 10:00am - Midnight including setup/cleanup. Ceremony space, seating, Wedding Party Rooms, Rehearsal the Thursday prior and an optional photoshoot on the property are all included in your package.
Blissful Barn
The Blissful Barn is a two-story barn with a vaulted ceiling, hand-hewn beams, wood floors, electricity, running water, handicap-accessible restrooms, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning and heat. It can accommodate up to 200 guests with a 2,210 square foot interior and 2000 square foot Grand Patio.
Amenities include a wooden pergola for the ceremony, reception space, Grand Patio, and photography opportunities on-site.
