Gorgeous Fall Wedding in November | Sycamore Hills Golf Club Macomb County, Michigan | November 2nd, 2019
It’s funny to think back to the first time I met Justina + Alex. I love meeting at Panera (usually somewhere halfway between you and I) and we met up at a Panera in Birmingham. I had never been to this location so it was a little surprise to have the street (paid for) meter parking. Oops! Didn’t know and what’s funny is I now pass that Panera everyday driving my bus route, except they no longer have a location there. They moved somewhere else down the street and every morning I am reminded of meeting them when I see the (now) empty building! They are the sweetest, most in love couple! Together forever (I believe since High School) which is so unheard of. I remember during their engagement session in George George park. If anyone wants to go back I am down for it because it was the cutest little park full of what I call “Whispys” haha
There wedding day was nothing short of magical. I played around with photos for a GIF video I hope to make (on the GIANT to-do list) We started at a nearby Hampton Inn and as soon as I entered the room, I could totally vibe off the mode. Justina was calm and so so happy. I could vibe off her that this was the right thing to do, it feels so real and that’s when you know you are marrying for all the right reasons. Its not really about the decor, the location, the weather, the time of day…it’s about the love of your life. Marrying your best friend. This mood, this feeling that Justina felt the day of her wedding proved her and Alex were meant to be. Her soul is so gentle and kind. I go could go on all day! Justina found ways to incorporate her Gramps in as many ways as possible the day of the wedding. We laughed together as we staged up this way of pulling up her dress and showing off an M for Michigan (go sports lol) an old shirt her Gramps used to wear and then crying tears seeing her reception space for the first time including the memorial table to friend, family and her Gramps. Their vows were something special to each other and they shared them with each other during their first look…OH! and Justina was bringing sexy back with a little leg! ;)
