They got IN the Water!! | Stony Creek Metropark Engagement Session
Stony Creek Metropark Engagement Session
All three of us were watching the weather today, LIKE A HAWK!!
We had plans to meet at 7PM (the BEST lighting) and it was PERFECT timing. It POURED all day but left about a 3 hour window open for us and I honestly have to say, it really made all the nature around us POP! I was about 15 minutes behind Rachel + Ryon, but I noticed a car turn right onto a road in front of me and then immediately go back onto the main road. Stony Creek closed off the golf course entrance which was where we had plans to meet. So I parked in front of the closed gates and gave Stony Creek a quick call to ask if it would be okay to park there. The golf course was closed due to weather, but we didn’t really care to golf that day haha but Stony Creek still asked that we park a little down the road, and then walk to the spot we wanted…which is what we did! We went on a little adventure and found plenty of cute, little photo spots till we got to our tunnel of trees! It wasn’t until the end, that Ryon brought up/reminded us that Rachel wanted to GET IN the water!!! YES, girl…YES!!! I was so down and got right in the water with them, but they were a bit more brave when submerging. The water wasn’t THAT bad, but still a bit cold. Us folks from Michigan kind of can’t wait for warmer weather. It’s been raining so much lately, that it almost feels like we are experiencing April Showers.
