Your wedding is a chance to celebrate you and your partner. From the songs you love to sing to each other to the hobbies you do together, you get to showcase your personality for those most important in your life. If you’re a nature lover, the idea of getting to incorporate those elements into your big day may seem fantastic, but the logistics can sometimes be a nightmare. It can easily turn into a stressful day where you’re checking the forecast and praying to every god in the universe for the rain to hold off just one more day. This is why climate-controlled nature venues such as the MSU Horticulture Gardens wedding venue is incredible! You’ll get the chance to celebrate the things you love without having to give out umbrellas as wedding favors.

About The MSU Horticulture Gardens Wedding Venue

For years, both Spartans and Michiganders have loved the MSU Horticulture Gardens. The grounds cover over 14 acres and contain a large variety of diverse gardens. Whether you want to take a stroll alongside the commemorative bricks or view the many different trees within the center, the gardens have no shortage of things to do. With endless gorgeous sites, it’s no wonder why so many couples choose to write the next chapter in their love story.

Details of the Grounds

The MSU Horticulture Gardens Wedding venue provide both indoor and outdoor spaces for your ceremony. You can get married outside in either the North Garden or South Garden, or if you want climate control, you can marry inside the large glass arboretum.

You can also choose to have your reception both outside amongst the gardens or inside the arboretum. Many couples choose to use a tent for outdoor receptions to provide coverage from the sun.

The MSU Horticulture Gardens Wedding venue gives you the ability to set up a cocktail hour near your event space. You can have both outside alcohol and an open bar to keep the drinks flowing following your ceremony.

The gardens have a get-ready room where you can put on the finishing touches before your ceremony begins.

The gardens and the arboretum can hold anywhere from 10-400 guests, giving you the ability to host a party of pretty much any size.

The grounds contain thousands of gorgeous flowers in bloom throughout the warmer months. The glass arboretum features high ceilings that let in lots of natural light and contains plants to give your wedding a verdant feel. With open space and concrete floors, you can dress up this area however you choose.
